Study 01 · Mosel, Germany

Let the place
do the talking.

For an estate shaped by a river and steep vineyard slopes, the landscape is the beginning of the story. The website should begin there, too.

BeforeOur direction

Independent concept study for an imagined estate, with illustrative photography and before-and-after designs.

The thinking behind the direction

Less distance
between the visitor
and the vineyard.

A small photograph and a long welcome message can make a remarkable estate feel ordinary. Here, the first view gives the landscape the space it deserves.

A restrained identity keeps the wine and its origins at the centre. Clear paths to the story, wines and a visit help people take the next step.

01

Start with the place

A broad, atmospheric image communicates the steep terrain before the first paragraph. The opening line connects the landscape to what is in the glass.

02

Make the wines easy to explore

The full-site direction would organise the collection around each wine’s character, with readable tasting details and a natural route to an enquiry or purchase.

03

Keep the invitation in view

Visiting the estate is a clear destination in the navigation. On mobile, the composition gives the landscape and invitation room without shrinking the desktop layout.
